I really enjoyed photographing MD. I was a young trainee photographer and he and his wife made me feel really at ease, even making me a cup of tea. I stayed on that particular job about an hour longer than I should have done!! I seem to remember that he told me his son was a former reporter on the same 'paper that I was from.
