Enough has already been said on this site about the tendency of French comics fans to equate the terms auteur and dessinateur; so there are no apologies for introducing this album of portraits from the 2005 Festival de la Bande Dessinée (mostly of people wearing the professional "auteur" name badge) with a picture of a box of crayons.
